We're excited to welcome a new range of footwear from Japanese brand Moonstar - proudly made in Kurume since 1873. This region was renowned for producing high-quality Jika-Tabi (rubber-soled split-toe shoes). Years of technology and manufacturing expertise are applied to making every Moonstar shoe today.
Lite Prim, an elegant slip-on plimsole with a single self-fabric lace. Clean, contemporary and feminine. Available in Black and Off-white canvas and Velvet in Black, (we recommend taking a size up).
Each upper is attached to the outsole by hand by skilled craftsmen, a process impossible for a machine to perform. The shoes are vulcanised, baked in a kiln at 120 degrees celcius for 70 minutes, a process reminiscent of Japanese pottery firing. The result is durable, flexible footwear with an elegant silhouette.
Alweather Low: A substantial sneaker with a canvas upper with a rubber sole and extended rubber upper - perfect for keeping your feet warm and dry through those wet winter days. Available in Olive and Beige.
The Gym Classic, inspired by an 1960's American classic, these super comfy lace-up plimsoles are a year-round classic. Available in Off-white, Navy and Brick.
